ORWL Avocats assists StackinSat in its DASP registration procedure with the AMF

ORWL Avocats is pleased to have assisted StackinSat in obtaining its registration with the Autorité des marchés financiers as a digital asset service provider (DASP).

StackinSat offers a simple and secure recurring investment service (DCA) in Bitcoin and launches the Bitcoin Savings Plan.

After a procedure lasting nearly six months, StackinSat is the first DASP to be registered with the AMF before launching its activity.

Registered under number E2020-004, StackinSat is now authorised to provide digital asset buying and selling services to the public.

This initial procedure provided an opportunity to understand the expectations of regulators, who were also attentive to the development of the digital asset sector.

Alexandre Lourimi and William O’Rorke were involved throughout the procedure and advised the company in the constitution of the dossier (presentation of the business plan, demonstration of the competence and repute of the directors and shareholders), in the area of payment services and in the definition of internal AML/CFT procedures.
